Rotator Cuff Tear

The rotator cuff is a series of four muscles that begin on the shoulder blade (scapula) and end in a connection to the upper-outer corner of the ball of the shoulder (humerus). This group of muscles when put under excess stress or wear can be strained, partially torn, or completely torn (detached). The shoulder specialists with Premier Orthopedics are expertly trained at diagnosing these conditions and recommending appropriate treatment for their patients. These treatments might include medications, physical therapy, home rehabilitation, injections, or in some cases surgical repair. Our goal at Premier Orthopedic Specialists of Tulsa is to provide our patients with the proper diagnosis and medical information necessary to make the best decision regarding the most effective and cost efficient care for their shoulder condition.
