Dr. Davies was born and raised in Tulsa. After completing undergraduate work in Biological Sciences at Oklahoma State University, where he graduated Cum Laude with an Honors College Degree, he received his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Davies completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of South Carolina, where he was named senior resident of the year and was involved in several publications in both peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Dr. Davies completed his Foot and Ankle Fellowship training at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, which was recently named the #1 hospital in the United States for orthopedics by U.S. News and World Report.
During his training, Dr. Davies directly provided care for a number of high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. His research has been presented at regional, national, and international meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS).
